Chekk is proud to announce that it has become the latest founding member of the Respect Network, the world’s first global network for trusted private relationships online. Its purpose is to empower members anywhere in the world to safely share private data over trusted peer-to-peer connections between personal and business clouds just as easily as they can share data publicly on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ today.
Launched in June 2014 in a series of events in London, San Francisco, Sydney, and Tel Aviv, the Respect Network is based on an award-winning trust framework developed over 3 years by leading Internet architects and 75 Founding Partner companies from around the world. It is a decentralized, multi-provider network similar to the global banking or email networks. It is architected from the ground up on the principles of Privacy by Design and named after its 7th Principle, “Respect for Users”.
